Night awakening
by Sheepy-Pie - July 05, 2016, 11:33:30 AM

It's a teeny tiny piece cause I had an idea I wanted to explore. I mean it probably doesn't make the most sense as I didn't write it with people in mind, as obviously I know all the backstory. But I wanted to share :P so hopefully you guys like?

Oh yeah, and it involves Celeste, the girl in my sig! Yay!

The Desert in Winter
by Ahryantah - July 01, 2016, 05:05:48 PM
I went back and forth over what I wanted to post first and eventually decided on this. The Desert in Winter is a working title in lieu of anything better at the moment. I actually don't have a whole lot of this written (it started out as a NaNo a couple years ago but I ended up switching projects pretty early on), but there is an outline--four books' worth of an outline, so we'll see if that actually ever happens--and I do want to get back to working on it regularly.

Average Jo
by Becca - June 23, 2016, 09:36:32 AM
I've finally contributed :) I added the first two chapters (well... more like 1.5) of this book I started a little while back to the library. It's called Average Jo, and it's about a college student in a city that is frequently assaulted with superbattles between superheroes and villains. Basically, I came up with the idea when I wondered what life would be like for the average citizen in the background of superhero stories. So this is her story.

Dragonsbreath: Bloodline (writing challenge- high fantasy/sword and sorcery)
by Jedi Knight Muse - June 18, 2016, 09:11:45 PM
I wrote Dragonsbreath: Bloodline as an entry to the first writing challenge, and I really like what I wrote. So much so that I think I'm putting Seer's Pawn to the side and am going to work on expanding this thing into something more. o__o

Summary: Amasra is a mage apprentice under the tutelage of Merek. Her life changes one night when someone from the past comes to inform her of the bloodline she comes from and the danger she's in.

...I might end up changing things a little bit from...
